Spherical Roller Bearings
The new spherical roller bearings for high-speed applications offers customers more flexibility to design large industrial gearboxes with higher motor speed. A higher motor speed capability in gearboxes helps integrators and end-users lower costs by using 4-pole motors instead of 6-pole motors and utilizing the full potential of the gearbox.Spherical roller bearings are dedicated to extremely severe applications and must support high loads, severe misalignment, contaminated environments, shocks, and vibrations. And with the industry’s highest load rating and production coming from a factory near you, there’s no reason to look anywhere else for spherical roller bearings.
Spherical roller thrust bearings have specially designed raceways and asymmetrical rollers. The bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in one direction and simultaneously acting radial loads. The load is transmitted between the raceways via the rollers at an angle to the bearing axis, while the flange guides the rollers .
